The highlight of everyone’s childhood, McDonald’s happy meal is the most beloved and one of the most successful items on their menu.

Introduced in the late 1970s the happy meal is served in a circus-themed box that contains a hamburger, french fries, and a small simple toy.

McDonald’s has sold more than 3.6 billion Happy meal boxes since its release – in fact, its popularity among kids has made McDonald’s the biggest toy distributor around the world.

Chicken Nuggets

Although McDonald’s is most famous for their burgers, their chicken nuggets are no less popular.

Although it is the second last item on our list, Egg Muffin is one of the first items served by McDonald’s, when the day starts.

This Egg Muffin is the first true breakfast item that is offered by a fast-food chain. It is a classic breakfast sandwich with poached eggs, bacon, and cheese – however, some variations of this item also include chicken and zesty sausage.

Although it debuted in the 2000s, the Egg Muffin is, without a doubt, the most popular breakfast item since then. It was estimated that these sandwiches contribute to 15 percent of McDonald’s annual sales.

McFlurry

Just as a meal is incomplete without desserts, this list is incomplete without McFlurry.

Rich vanilla ice cream with the infusion of candies and various toppings, McFlurry is a thick and creamy concoction of sweets galore. McFlurry is available in 8 different flavors, mostly named after famous chocolates like M&M, Snickers, Oreo, KitKat, Twix, and Reese’s peanut butter cup.

Since the time of its release, McFlurry has become the most sold dessert offered by McDonald’s and has massive demand all around the world – which is also one of the reasons why McDonald’s keeps making an addition to its flavors.
